The project content summarized in three divisions
Procedural Landscapes is about creating landscapes in the computer that feel as dynamic and organic as nature outside our windows. This ended up being a generative design where the experience is central.
For this project I wanted to see how or what was possible to design digital nature, what would that look like? Like the nature we know when we step out of the door? From this question I started designing.
I worked with touchdesigner and blender, because these 'nodes' are generative and assume randomness just like real nature. I merged these outcomes with music so that the visual reacted to the music and generative experience came out.
"CAN A DYNAMIC
LANDSCAPE BE CREATED BY A COMPUTER AND ITS ASPECTS?"
Personal question that had risen while doing this project
