Re-coding Romeo and Juliet is a project in which my interpretation of the story is told. The final form in which this story is developed is a generative visualization in poster form. This is an image in which the shapes are determined by the data itself.

During this process, my focus was mainly on the generative and what I could achieve with this for the visualization. After analyzing the data, I started organizing it into an Excel table and filtered it to the necessary data.

In the end, from 3 characters in the story, per act, the number of kilocalories and the number of times coming on and going off stage were visualized in a generative way where the parameters is the chosen data and thus determines the form.

"NICE HOW YOU MADE A TRANSLATION BETWEEN BURNING CALORIES AND THE MOVEMENTS OF THE ACTORS."
